Welcome to the advanced certification course brought to you by the IATH. If you have been a member of the IATH long enough to have completed all the lessons up to your first evaluation, or if you already have a basic hypnosis education (which you can attain for free as a member of this site) you are eligible to become certified as a teenage hypnotist (C.TH)* or Certified Hypnotist (C.H)* depending on your age or preference.
This certification is given by the IATH and is endorsed and accredited by the International Certification Board For Clinical Hypnotherapists (ICBCH). Your certification will demonstrate the fact that you have been trained to an exceptionally high standard of skill and competence in hypnotism, clearly showing that you are a hypnotist to be taken seriously.
Before you read on, it is wise to know that this section is not for the faint of heart. If you are just interested in learning a few cheap parlor tricks then this section is not for you. Here you will learn how to really become a hypnotist in the true sense of the word and truly embrace the full potential of a hypnotic education and advanced hypnosis skills

Immediately upon joining the certification program you will been given the information you need to arrange a 15-30 minute live phone conference with IATH President Nathan Thomas. Bearing in mind the fact that you have already trained in hypnosis through the IATH or already have a basic hypnosis education, completion of the full certification program can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months, depending on how rapidly you complete the material.
After you have studied the resources given you are free to arrange, at your own time but within 6 months of your beginning the course, a consultation with Nathan Thomas. Here you will be questioned on certain aspects of the course, and will be asked to demonstrate certain hypnotic techniques to ensure your understanding and competence.
If you 'fail' this examination, you are free to retake it (with different questions) a maximum of three times within a further 6 month period. Due to the quality of training provided and the fact that help is always on hand, failure is extremely unlikely, however we will only certify those who deserve it and who meet the requirements of our curriculum.
When you pass your exam your certificate will immediately be mailed to you, in hard copy or PDF format depending on your preference.
